Nasal test procedure (Nasopharyngeal sampling)
1) Open the package, remove the cassette, and place it on a flat surface.
2) Remove the swab from the package and gently swab the surface of the rear nasopharynx. Leave the swab in place for approximately 3 seconds and rotate gently. Repeat this process in the other nostril using the same swab to ensure that enough sample material is collected from both nostrils.
3) Place the swab into the sample extraction tube by opening the large cap and inserting the swab. Rotate it firmly against the wall of the tube about 10 times to dissolve the sample into the buffer as much as possible.
4) Remove and discard the swab. The extracted solution will be used as the test sample.
5) Add 2–3 drops of liquid from the sample extraction tube into the cassette well.
6) The result should be read after 15 minutes and is invalid after 20 minutes.
