Gonorrhea

Instructions

1) Remove the swab (A) and insert it 1–1.5 cm into the urethra or vagina. Rotate the swab several times and leave it in place for 5–10 seconds.

2) Using one of the included pipettes, add 11 drops from the vial marked "NG Diluent A" (B) into the larger tube marked "Sample Tube" (D).

3) Insert the swab into the Sample Tube and squeeze it against the sides while stirring approximately 15 times. Leave the swab in the tube for 2 minutes before removing it.

4) Using the second pipette provided, add 6 drops from the vial marked "NG Diluent B" (C) into the Sample Tube. Do not use the same pipette as in step 2.

5) Place the swab back into the Sample Tube and squeeze it against the sides while stirring approximately 15 times. Leave it for 1 minute before removing it and replacing the cap on the Sample Tube.

6) Remove the test cassette (E) and add 3 drops from the Sample Tube into the round sample well marked "S". Read the result after 15 minutes.
